The Book-it Brigade, May 1, 1990
The symbolic book move, dubbed the "Book-it Brigade," was an event that encouraged faculty, staff, students, and alumni to help move the library from JCK to the new library building across campus. Four titles were chosen to be passed from the old library to the new.
This photograph documents a portion of the journey taken by of one of the four books as it made its way towards the new library – appropriately titled “Move!” by Bronwen Nicholls. The textbook on dramatic motion was published by Plays Inc. of Boston in 1975.
