New Sweden
On Sunday, July 26, 2020, Debby and I began our Backroad Exploring venture with a trip to the New Sweden community of eastern Travis County. We first photographed the New Sweden Cemetery and then traveled a mile or two south to photograph the exquisite New Sweden Evangelical Lutheran Church (12809 New Sweden Church Road, Manor), which as a congregation dates to 1876 and establishment by Swedish immigrants.
