The Texas State University Years
After Strahan was discharged from the army he was hired as Southwest Texas State Normal College’s first professional athletic director and coach. He interviewed with School President C.E. Evans who traveled to St. Louis Missouri to meet with Strahan. Soon after that, Oscar and Marion made their way to San Marcos, where they made it their home for the remainder of their lives.
