- Title
- Burleson home historical marker, 1932
- Description
-
Following the collapse of the original log cabin in a 1917 rainstorm, early members of the San Marcos Moon-McGehee Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas erected a limestone marker at the site in 1932.
The rocks used for the marker purportedly were original chimney stones from the Burleson cabin. - Contributor
